Sew So

I saw these skirts online and fell in LOVE! I decided to make me and my girly matching skirts for Mother's Day. That's what you do in a house full of boys, naturally. She was SO excited to match me. I wanted to make a special memory for both of us.   These skirts were easy and turned out so beautiful!  Her skirt is over the top, made from 20 yards of tulle, but you can't really have too much tulle, can you?

I have so many things I'd love to sew this year! I really love making clothes for my little girly.  The latest thing I made her were a pair of those adorable ruffle pants!




My version turned out like this:


I used a knit material I got at Wal-Mart for a $1 a yard. I bought 5 yards, so I see lots of stripes in my future. I might add another ruffle, if I get motivated.
